The Network and Communications Engineer is responsible for the implementation, monitoring, and support of the organisation’s network infrastructure and communication systems. This role ensures secure, reliable, and efficient connectivity across all offices and project sites. the Network and Communications Engineer integrates technologies from various virtualised servers and storage vendors, and manages complex core networks. Key responsibilities include configuring network equipment and software to align with security standards and business requirements, collaborating with network and orchestration teams, and providing technical support and access provisioning to end-users. The engineer is also expected to monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and enforce compliance with information security policies. Adapting to dynamic environments, the engineer ensures optimal network operations, disaster recovery preparedness, and the secure delivery of communication services across distributed sites.
